Alstroemeria ‘Majestic Chinon’
Description:
Part of a genus native to South America, particularly Chile, Brazil and Peru, this cultivar descends from the colourful Peruvian lilies long prized for their exotic flowers and long vase life. It forms dense clumps from fleshy underground tubers and produces masses of vivid red flowers with golden-yellow, brown-streaked inner petals from summer into autumn. Hardy and long-flowering, it is especially valued for its abundance of blooms and excellent performance as a cut flower.
