Description:
Introduced by New England hybridizer George H. Pride of Scituate, Massachusetts, in 1977, this 29" tetraploid daylily bears 6.5" fragrant, light polychrome blend blooms with a pale yellow throat, flowering mid-season. Pride registered 43 cultivars, with HM winners including ‘Prides Crossing’ and the widely grown ‘Ice Follies.’ His tetraploids, such as ‘Valentine Day’ and ‘Red Monarch,’ are noted for strong performance across the Northeast.
