Wulfenia orientalis
Description:
Perennial growing 30–60cm tall and wide, with oblong-spathulate basal leaves about 10cm long. It produces erect spikes of tubular violet-blue flowers in spring to early summer, with up to forty flowers on tall peduncles. Native to Western Asia, including Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey, it thrives in temperate climates, often found in limestone crevices at 200–1200m elevation. Prefers partial shade and well-draining soil.
