Lamium garganicum subsp. garganicum
Description:
Perennial herb in the mint family (Lamiaceae) native from the Mediterranean to the Arabian Peninsula. It grows primarily in the temperate biome, inhabiting woodland margins, rocky slopes, and other shaded habitats. The plant reaches 20–60 cm tall and has softly hairy square stems, heart-shaped toothed leaves, and showy pink to purple, hooded flowers that bloom from late spring to summer and attract a range of pollinators.
