Description:

Mid- to late-season historic daffodil, 2 W-R [Large-Cupped], is a tall cultivar over 67.5 cm, hybridised by Mrs. R.O. (Sarah) Backhouse in England and registered before 1921. Awarded AM(e) 1928 and PC(e) 1925, it has broadly ovate, creamy white perianth segments with slightly incurled margins overlapping a third. The broad, shallow, ribbed bowl-shaped corona is deep cherry red with an even mouth and raggedly crenate rim.
