Arthropodium candidum ‘Purpureum’
Description:
A deciduous, clump forming, perennial grass with purples bronze leaves. In summer small white flowers appear on wiry stems above the main clump, which resemble lily flowers of which this plant is a relative. Mature plants can reach heights of 8-10" tall, whilst the flowering stems can be up to 12" tall.
Best planted in either rock gardens or mixed beds, in full sun and with a little moisture in the soil. Cut grass back to 1-2" once it's died back completely.
