Dahlia ‘Lipoma’ (Ba)


Description:

Compact pink pompon introduced by H.K.H.A. Mayer Gmelin (1873–1943)  in 1943. Mayer Gmelin was a Dutch plant breeder, agricultural scientist, and professor associated with Wageningen. He contributed to crop improvement and plant-breeding research, particularly in forage crops, and is also credited with breeding several dahlia cultivars in the Netherlands during the 1930s–1940s. His work helped advance both agricultural and ornamental horticulture.
