Description:
Cited in the Riegel Plant Company wholesale catalogue 1944 as a new introduction originated by Mr Vanderbilt of California. Also cited in American literature through the late 1940s and early 1950s as a new introduction with very large flowers. A strong growing floriferous plant that flowers well through the summer season. The form of ‘Edgebrook Giant’ grown in the UK is much taller than the plant as originally described.
