Description:
Found before 1986 by Ann Burton at Annton Nursery in Cambridge, North Island, New Zealand, it might be a seedling of V. ‘Carnea’. This low-growing evergreen shrub reaches up to 75 cm. Its dark green, spear-shaped leaves measure 3.5–4 cm and have a purplish bud. The flowers are red-purple, turning white from late spring to summer. It is relatively hardy in the UK.
