Laportea bulbifera (Siebold & Zucc.) Wedd.
Description:
Hardy, herbaceous perennial native to Asia, from the Himalayas to Japan and Korea. Growing to 50–150 cm in shady, moist woodlands, it spreads via small bulbils. Young leaves are edible when cooked, and the plant has traidtional uses in medicine. Its stinging hairs are milder than common nettles, and it thrives in humus-rich, moist soil with partial to full shade, making it a low-maintenance groundcover.
