Anthurium veitchii Mast.
Description:
First published in Gard. Chron., n.s., 6: 772 (1876). It is an accepted species native to Colombia (Chocó and Antioquia). It grows as an epiphytic subshrub in wet tropical rainforests. It is well known for its long, heavily corrugated leaves. It has environmental uses, helping support rainforest ecosystems by providing habitat, contributing to canopy structure, and playing a role in nutrient and moisture cycles in tropical forest environments.
