Rosa ‘Betty Sherriff’ (Ra)
Synonym: Rosa brunonii ‘Betty Sherriff’ (Ra)
Description:
Vigorous rambler associated with Rosa brunonii. It was collected by the plant collector Betty Sherriff from wild rose seed near the Bhutan–Tibet border, probably around 1949. The exact introduction date is uncertain. It produces large sprays of fragrant, single blush-pink flowers from reddish buds, followed by orange hips. A spectacular climber, it can reach 10m or more and is particularly suited to growing through trees.
