Rudbeckia mollis
Description:
Short-lived perennial native to sandy dry areas of southeast of USA, often seen on roadsides of north and central Florida. Readily self-seeds and maintains good population. Drought tolerant. Dead heading prolongs flowering and possibly increases longevity of plants. Prefers full sun. Excellent for pollinators and beneficial insects.
