Description:
Variegated selection from the Florida Group of hybrids, developed by Robert McColley at Bamboo Nursery in Orlando, Florida, during the 1950s. The original hybrid resulted from a cross between P. pedatum and P. squamiferum. ‘Florida Beauty’ arose subsequently as a variegated sport, although the precise date of its introduction into cultivation is uncertain. It is also referneced by the trade ᴍᴀɢɪᴄ ᴍᴀsᴋ.
