Abutilon ‘Mrs Trimmer’
Description:
Raised by plantsman Chris Trimmer at Knightshayes around 20 years ago, this cultivar was selected from seedling crosses involving forms such as A. 'Nabob' and A. 'Canary Bird'. Named in honour of Trimmer’s mother, it is an evergreen to semi-evergreen flowering shrub in mild climates, valued for its lantern-shaped blooms and attractive foliage.
