Hemerocallis ‘Orchid Beauty’

Description:

Two references exist for H. ‘Orchid Beauty’. An introduction from E. C. Machowski, US 1962, 102 cm, midseason diploid, lavender with lavender rose eyezone, greenish throat. The second described on Beth Chatto’s Garden website: 'Since this was unnamed, Beth chose 'Orchid Beauty', ruffled petals, colour resembles cream stirred into plum juice with dark-shadowed bee guides, with yellow-orange heart.' Our Plant Guardian believes their plant fits the description from the 1962 introduction.
