Description:

Introduced in 1998 by Van Sellers, this tetraploid daylily grows 28 in (71 cm) with 5.5 in (14 cm) dark purple blooms and a green throat. Midseason, dormant, with 25 buds and 4 branches. Bred from (Latin Passion × Tet. Big Apple). Van Sellers, of Iron Gate Gardens, NC, was a renowned hybridiser who registered 304 cultivars, earning 56 medals and commendations.
