Potentilla aurea ‘Goldklumpen’
Description:
Cultivated form of the European alpine species P. aurea. It was raised and introduced by Karl Foerster (1874–1970), the influential German nurseryman and perennial breeder, who developed around 370 cultivars and promoted naturalistic perennial planting. ‘Goldklumpen’ is recorded among his introductions, with 1964 given as the introduction date.
