Alchemilla ellenbeckii Engl.
Description:
Native to the montane regions of Ethiopia and eastern to central tropical Africa, this low-growing evergreen perennial forms spreading mats of tiny lobed green to grey-green leaves on red trailing stems. Small chartreuse-yellow flowers appear in summer. Thriving in sun to shade with well-drained soil and moderate to low water, it makes an excellent woodland groundcover or plant for paths and rock gardens.
