Clematis huchouensis Tamura
Description:
Rarely cultivated in the UK this species native to eastern China, particularly Zhejiang and the lower Yangtze region. It occurs at low elevations in open, moist habitats including grassland, field margins, roadsides and lakesides. Its rarity in cultivation may increase the significance of well-documented UK-held material.
