Chrysanthemum ‘Cottage Yellow’
Description:
Associated with Margery Fish, is a lax-growing chrysanthemum reaching 70 cm, with 4 cm single yellow flowers, attractive to bees, flowering in mid-October. The plant held by collection holder Judy Barker came from Mrs Seager’s garden in Hartland, Devon, and had been known in her family since the 1950s. Margery Fish described it in Cottage Garden Flowers as “not very tall” with “a pleasant not too strident colour.” It is similar to ‘Sarah’s Yellow’.
