Description:
Found is open land or bush edge in northern South Island, New Zealand. Once classified as uncertain, it is now recognized as a true species. This erect, evergreen shrub reaches over 2 m in height. The leaves are spear-shaped, mid-green, and non-glossy, measuring 2.5–3.5 cm long. White flowers bloom densely on slender spikes in summer. It is hardy in the UK.
