Potentilla atrosanguinea ‘Chadwell's Tibetan Velvet’
Description:
Grown from seed collected by Chris Chadwell & initially described as Potentilla ex Tibet aff. P. atrosanguinea. Renamed in conjunction with Grow Wild Nursery, this is likely to be a collection from Chadwell’s expedition of the NW Himalaya and borderlands of Western Tibet. Clump-forming, herbaceous, perennial plant with slightly nodding, rich blood red, velvety flowers with black centres. Flowers June to July. Height 50cm. Sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soil.
