Synonym: Aster novae-angliae ‘Festival’

Description:

Listed as 'new' in 1990 edition of 'The Plant Finder' by Kaytie Fisher of Ockham, Surrey.  Described in Asters (Picton, 2004) as flowering mid-season to a height of 1m. Strong sprays io light purple-blue flowers. Forms a robust clump.
