Persephone is available at no additional cost for use to record National Collections, whether they are already fully accredited, or are being developed and still at the proposal stage.
More than three-quarters of the 730+ National Collections are already recorded in Persephone. This includes over 58,000 taxa, represented by more than 100,000 accessions.
Whatever your collection, Persephone can be tailored to suit your need. From Abies to Zingiber and from Galanthus to Sequoiadendron, species, cultivars and hybrids can all be accommodated.
Using the Persephone database ensures that all information is held securely. Records are accessible anywhere you can access the internet.

Barry Clarke
Barry is botanist and plant records officer at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Hampshire. He uses Persephone to maintain the records of the 14 National Collections held by the Gardens as well as for the four that he looks after in a private capacity.
Jemma Wiggins
Jemma is a pub owner in Gloucestershire and enthusiastic holder of the National Collection of Crocosmia. Persephone is her "go to" place to store all the information she gathers about the plants in her collection and says she "wouldn't be without it".

Kathy and Brian hold the National Collection of Eryngium in North Yorkshire. They say they use Persephone to store and to share all the information they gather on their plants.
