Welcome to our Group pages. Our meetings are held at Madingley Hall at Madingley, Cambridge CB23 8AQ.
Members of our Group hold 14 National Collections, with genera almost spanning the alphabet (Alchemilla to Yucca). Nine of these are at Cambridge Botanic Garden, one is at Wimpole Hall (National Trust) and the others are in private hands.
The Group has been in existence since 1983.
We have a varied programme of meetings, usually with outside speakers. Most are free to Plant Heritage members, £5 to non-members.
In addition we have at least one outing each summer. You’ll find us a friendly group whose members range widely in depth of plant knowledge and range of skills and specialisations.
