After many years out of horticultural fashion, Dahlias are now making a regular appearance in many of our gardens.
Our speaker is a retired nurseryman who continues to grow a very wide range of hardy plants, with a special interest in Dahlia, Hosta, Hemerocallis, Pulmonaria, Galanthus, woodland plants, ornamental grasses and hardy ferns. Robin is the former chair of the RHS Herbaceous Plant Committee, RHS Floral Judge, Exhibitor, Judge and Speaker.
As usual, there will be a raffle (donated prizes VERY welcome) and the meeting will be followed by tea/coffee and very delicious cake.
Please also bring along plants of seasonal interest to show to the group.
Please turn up in good time so we can start the talk at 2.15pm prompt.
