Desiderata plants

Collection holders are often seeking more plants to add to their collections, with some more difficult to find than others

If a National Collection holder is having difficulty tracking down a plant through the usual routes, they can send it to us as a 'Desiderata' or wish list plant. We compile a list of these plants and publish it here, in the hope that some of these can be found and plant material supplied to the collection holder. The list is a work in progress as things are added or found. We will be relaunching the Wish List in spring 2026. Please take a look and get in touch if you think you may be able to help source any of these plants.
