Record plants and pictures

Standard features include those relating to plant name and accession data. Synonyms can be recorded and nomenclature changes tracked. You can also create customised fields depending on your needs. Images and other files (e.g. for collection-related research) can be kept in one place. You can also record information about herbarium specimens.

Mapping

If your collection is planted across a large geographic area, the mapping function means you can keep track of your plants and gives you a map of where they are. This works particularly well for trees and shrubs. You need never worry about lost labels again. You can also map the places where you have collected material from the wild (legally).

Reports and catalogues

Whether you want a quick printout to take round the garden, or to produce an illustrated catalogue for visitors to your collection, Persephone allows you to create and download reports easily.
