On Saturday 10th May The Surrey Group were lucky enough to visit The Mathers Foundation in West Sussex. They currently hold 5 national collections with a couple more at the provisional stage.
It was no surprise to anybody that this is indeed a prize winning orchid nursery. Many thanks to Gill, David, Jim, Hendrelien and Marguerite for such and enjoyable and informative visit.
It was as well we were wearing name tags least we forgot who we were in this orchid heaven!
