This four-acre garden has been looked after by keen gardeners since the 1950s and has many specimen trees, amongst them metasequoia, ginkgo, copper beech, and gum all flourish. As well as fantastic views there is a rockery, bog garden, stream, and sculpture collection. If we are lucky the rhododendron walk should be in flower: fingers crossed! Many thanks to our member, Margaret Thomas, who recommended this garden.
Please book by Wednesday 20th May, Bank transfer code – ‘your surname’ OV
Directions: Wellington Heath is a bit of a spider’s web of roads so good luck! Exit Ledbury via the Bromyard road (B4214) which runs under the railway bridge. Take a right at the sign for Wellington Heath and Hope End. Follow this lane (Beggars Ash and Ledbury Road) until it hits Church Lane at a T junction with a triangular island with a carved tree stump. At this point turn left and The Old Vicarage is on the left just down Church Lane, next door to the church. What3Words:/// half.keen.waltz
