It is a great pleasure to be invited again to one of our member’s gardens - The Old Rectory - which is a short walk from the church. The garden, of about 3½ acres, has recently been extended to create a woodland area with many new trees and a wildlife pond. There is also a walled kitchen garden, rose garden, croquet lawn, orchard and numerous herbaceous beds with dahlias in abundance. This garden was much enjoyed last time and we can’t wait to revisit.
