Crataegus × durobrivensis


Synonyms: Crataegus pruinosa var. pruinosa, Crataegus durobrivensis

Description:

Discovered in May 1900 by J. Dunbar near the Genesee River in Rochester, New York, this plant features clusters of large white flowers with pink stamens in the spring. In autumn, it produces dark crimson fruit that lasts until mid-winter. It is very hardy and perfect for smaller gardens. This variety is native to southeastern Canada and the northern central and eastern United States.
