Salvia microphylla ‘Rodbaston Red’
Description:
Named in 2005 by Yoke van der Meer whilst at Rodbaston College as Head Gardener. Incorrectly labelled as ‘Kew Red’, James Compton suggested S. ‘Rodbaston Red’ as an alternative. Described as being vigorous, its bright red blooms display from May till the first frost. Strongly fragranced foliage.
