Sezincote

A last minute opportunity to visit Sezincote Gardens, following on from our visit last September.

After neglect following the Second World War, these stunning gardens were restored in 1968 by Sir Cyril and Lady Kleinwort who were advised by Graham Stuart Thomas. Their work includes the canals and Irish yews in the South Garden, evocative of Moghul paradise gardens, a glorious curving Orangery, home to many tender climbing plants, and a small pavilion also in the Indian style.

We will have a tour of the garden with Head Gardener, Greg Power - expect this to take around an hour or so.  As the orangery is not yet open for the season, we can then make our way across the road to Batsford Arboretum for tea.

Please contact Stevie not later than Monday 23rd March to let her know if you would like to come.

We plan to make a donation to the garden to thank them for hosting us again -  please bring £5 in cash on the day.
