We are really pleased to welcome Josh to talk to the group for the first (but almost certainly not, the last) time.
Josh is currently Head of Horticulture at Pershore College. He is responsible for developing courses for school-leavers and adults, bringing his infectious enthusiasm to the role to inspire everybody to have a go at a bit of horticulture.
Josh is the recipient of several awards, including the Roy Lancaster Award 2024, for high level of service to science, practice or promotion of horticulture.
Josh describes the talk as his favourite talk to deliver....'It entails me bringing some cut material, and living plants to discuss with the audience. I often describe this type of session as 'me waving plants around at the front and getting all excited about them'.
As usual, there will be a raffle (please remember to bring a prize if you can) and the meeting will be followed by tea/coffee and delicious cake. Please also bring along plants of seasonal interest to show to the group.
