Welcome to the Essex Group pages. We are a small but enthusiastic group in a county with some 10 National Plant Collections - from shade loving perennials to Heritage Fruit Trees. We run Spring and Autumn Plant Fairs at RHS Hyde Hall. Read on to find out more.
We generally meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, 10.00 - 12.00 in the Café at RHS Hyde Hall.
The spring and autumn plant fairs are a main focus of activity; our members can also help to conserve rare plants through the Plant Guardian Scheme and the Annual Plant Exchange.
