Talk
'Garden bugs – cohabit, conserve or control?' by Dr Ian Bedford
5.30pm zoom talk
A virtual talk, open to members of Plant Heritage.
Dr Bedford notes : I've been fascinated by insects and other invertebrates for most of my life. From studying butterflies on the South Downs as a youngster, I went on to pursue a career in Research Entomology and ran the Entomology Dept at the John Innes Centre in Norwich up to my recent retirement after 42 yrs. Following retirement I now provide independent entomological advice to companies that are developing environmentally safe plant protection products and I promote and encourage wildlife-friendly home gardening.'
