All about trees! by Tony Kirkham


Tony Kirkham VMH, MBE is Head of the Arboretum, Gardens and Horticultural Services, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Tony was awarded the VMH and MBE for his invaluable contribution to horticulture over the last 41 years. His talk is entitled 'Memorable trees from my travels'. This will be an illustrated talk about special trees that Tony has met over the years on his travels and expeditions at home and overseas. It will show trees like ‘Big Lonely Doug’, a special Douglas Fir in Canada or a cypress in Taiwan and will have lots of stories.
